Two eagles--autumn cove.
Just as the sun was about to set, I was finishing a hike along a favorite cove along Bull Run stream when I decided to survey the cove with binoculars. Two eagles were spotted and appeared to have taken a perch for the evening, so I retrieved the tripod, a 750 mm zoom and shot until the sun set behind the ridges. The eagles (one adult and one young brownish) are visible in upper left quadrant-easier seen at X3 size.
