Being from Australia, how did I land here? Our 22-year old cockatiel was not sure what to think of the blizzard when watching other birds at the bird feeder.
Notice the right wing is much lower than the left wing. About 7 years ago, the wing was injured. A veterinarian said, “we must amputate the wing, it will never heal, she will never fly again." Well, it took a couple of years, but Wendy learned to become a fabulous flyer again. Wendy was a hand-fed baby and given a female name before the colors indicated Wendy was a male. Wendy’s 23rd birthday is upcoming soon.
