Young Eagle at Mason Neck Wildlife Refuge. I was photographing ospreys for 15 minutes or so, when I felt like I was being watched. Sure enough, turned and looked behind, and the young eagle was staring at me. I slowly turned the camera from shooting the middle of Belmont bay, 90 degrees towards the eagle--careful not to look at it. Once the camera was positioned(on the tripod), shooting began and lasted for several minutes, until we both tired, and the eagle flew away, curiosity being satisfied.
